Saturday, Mar 9, 2024 – 10-3pm Lifelong Learning Day at MLK Park – Introduction to Safety, Basic Tools and their Use, Lunch and Learn, Families and Children ages 4 and older.

The Smithville Workforce Training Center Lifelong Learning Day event will be held at MLK park from 10-3pm on Saturday March 9, 2024, with the idea of getting folks out to set up their show-n-tell businesses, art, crafts, work related skills/experiences, resources, and anything else they would like to share related to the promotion of life-long learning. (All fields of work, Healthcare, Skilled Trades, IT, Banking, Construction, Retail, Culinary, etc.

The SWTC’s goal for hosting this event is to promote a culture of life-long learning and share what the workforce has to offer our community for all ages.
